Elkan Environmental Inc. was founded in 2010 as a consulting company providing environmental and waste engineering services in Western Canada. Areas of specialty focus on contaminated site work: site assessment, pathway exclusions, guideline modifications, remediation, monitoring, reclamation, as well as remote sewage effluent design.
Senior Engineer
Our senior engineer has been in the environmental and chemical industries for over 25 years. Expertise is in contaminated site work: site assessments, groundwater and surface water investigations, risk assessment, remediation, compliance and regulatory, and waste management and wastewater design.
Senior Biologist
Our senior biologist has attained Ph.D. level, has QAES certification, and has over 25 years of experience in wildlife habitat assessments, stream crossings, wetlands assessments, and pre-disturbance assessments, surface water investigations, and fish capture and release monitoring.

Elkan's SECOR confirms that its health and safety program meets or exceeds the standards developed for the program. Elkan is committed to providing a safe work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.

Elkan Environmental Inc. employs best safety
practices, including remote work policies, pre-job safety hazard assessments,
job safety analyses, and hazards identification.
All personnel are trained in health and safety job
requirements, and specific in-house safety orientations are completed as
required.
